HLN TV host doesn't notice guest is talking about Edward Scissorhands, NOT Edward Snowden [Video]

Just in case you think TV hosts actually care about what you are saying, this woman had no idea her guest on HLN was talking about Edward Scissorhands and not Edward Snowden, even though he repeatedly said the name.

The show was a segment about Edward Snowden joining Twitter and the interviewee was "Snowden Supporter" Jon Hendren. Edward Scissorhands is a character from the Tim Burton film.

 

 

Boy narrowly escapes death by stepping aside, seconds before a car crashes [Video]

It was definitely not this child's time to go.  A young boy in the Crimean capital of Simferopol narrowly escaped death by taking just a small step, seconds before a car arrives on the scene, crashing into the spot he had just vacated. 

 

It was all captured on CCTV as it happened last Friday at 7.26am local time. In the video, we see a boy, standing on the pavement leaning on some railings, obviously bored and kicking at the paving stones. With his backpack on his back, he is possibly waiting for someone to collect him to take him to school.

Just at the moment he decides to move and step aside, a speeding BMW appears, obviously out of control and crashes into the railing at the exact position the boy had previously occupied. The boy jumps in shock (and most probably huge relief) while the car just stands there, its lights blinking. Watch the short video below.
