Belgian tourist trampled to death by elephant in Kenya wildlife reserve
This is reportedly the second incident of this nature in the last month and happened close to the Maasai Mara wildlife reserve.
On condition of anonymity, a police officer in the area told
the media on Wednesday that the Belgian tourist was badly injured by a rogue
elephant on Monday and died from his injuries in the Talek Health Centre. It is
unclear what exactly happened in the incident, but this comes a month after an
Italian man suffered the same fate in the Tsavo National Park in southeast
Kenya when attempting to photograph an elephant.
IOL quotes the Kenyan newspaper, The Standard as reporting
another incident on Tuesday, involving a Kenyan secondary school student,
killed by an elephant while walking to school.
According to the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS), the drought
in the country is tending to push wildlife away from their traditional habitats
when searching for water and food, which has increasingly brought the elephants
into contact with humans.
KWS has urged caution in high-risk areas, as these interactions are likely to increase and their statement read: "From the cases recorded by KWS, it is evident that there has been an increase in reported incidents of conflicts compared to past years; the notable ones being attacks on people, property destruction, livestock predation and crop raiding."

Princess Diana’s Audi up for sale along with Queen Elizabeth’s Bentley
In November this year, car lovers will have the chance of owning these classic cars, along with Elton John’s Rolls-Royce Phantom.
According to Nick Whale, the M.D. of Silverstone Auctions, there will be a huge amount of interest in the cars on sale on November 12 and 13 in Birmingham. Whale said the cars have been cared for “wonderfully” over the years and said they are looking forward to finding new homes for the classic vehicles on the Silverstone Auctions' Classic Motor Show Sale.
The late Princess Diana’s 1994 Audi
Cabriolet is expected to particularly draw interest from around the globe. The
Princess of Diana reportedly drove around 4,000 miles in the green convertible
sports car, which is valued at around £50,000 (around $62,000). Princess Di was
occasionally photographed driving with Princes William and Harry in the car.

However, to add to the excitement
and keeping in the Royal theme, there is also the chance of purchasing Queen
Elizabeth II’s 2012 Bentley Mulsanne, which was a gift for Her Majesty’s Diamond
Jubilee tour of the U.K. The car is on sale for £235,000 ($292,000) and comes
complete with reinforced tires, armor protection and walnut-burr veneered
picnic tables for that enjoyable meal in the fresh air. Not to be outdone,
reportedly it is also possible to buy the Queen’s 2001 Daimler Supercharged V8
for around £60,000 ($75,000). Princess Margaret’s 1980 Rolls-Royce Silver
Wraith II is also on offer for around £110,000 ($137,000).
For something a little different
from royalty, there are several other famous cars on sale, including Elton John’s Rolls-Royce
Phantom from 2005, currently valued at around £155,000 ($193,000). If anyone is
interested, they can also buy the 1972 Fiat 500L bought by former British Prime
Minister David Cameron for his wife Samantha. That car is going for around £22,000
($27,400).

The fact these vehicles are for sale
does not mean the royal family, Cameron or the famous singer are short of cash,
however, as the full, 12-car collection is currently owned by a private
gentleman.

The Rolling Stones are going back to their roots with a new studio album
In December this year, The Rolling Stones will be releasing an album of the blues greats that originally got them going.
The band got together for three days last December to record “Blue & Lonesome,” their new album of American blues covers, music that takes them back to the days when they first got into music together. Mick Jagger, along with Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ronnie Wood recorded the new album at London’s British Grove Studios. The studios are close to where the band started performing back in 1962 at local venues in London, performing music inspired by the American blues.
Excited that #BlueAndLonesome will be released on Dec 2! Spotted this on the drive to the desert today. See you tomorrow #StonesDesertTrip pic.twitter.com/fvdYR5ZnTN— Mick Jagger (@MickJagger) October 7, 2016
Blues is the heart and soul of The Rolling Stones
According to a statement released by the band, their passion for blues music has remained the heart and soul of The Rolling Stones. The way they approached the new album was by playing the music spontaneously in the studio, with no overdubs. Among the songs on the new album are music the band played in its early days, including that of artists like Little Walter, Eddie Taylor, Howlin’ Wolf and Willie Dixon. In the past they have played specific blues sets at their concerts, including in their repertoire songs like “Love in Vain” by Robert Johnson and “Little Red Rooster,” by Dixon.American blues were the inspiration of many British rock bands back in the 1960s and early 1970s and Fleetwood Mac, along with Cream and Led Zeppelin were all influenced by the music. In fact, Eric Clapton, the renowned Cream guitarist and singer, has joined the band on two of the new album’s 12 tracks.
"Blue & Lonesome" out on December 2
On the album, to be released on December 2, the tracks are listed as "Just Your Fool", "Commit A Crime", "Blue and Lonesome", "All Of Your Love", "I Gotta Go", "Everybody Knows About My Good Thing", "Ride 'Em On Down", "Hate To See You Go", "Hoo Doo Blues", "Little Rain", "Just Like I Treat You" and "I Can't Quit You Baby".It has been more than a decade since the Stones released their last studio album, the 2005 “A Bigger Bang,” but they haven’t sat on their laurels, touring the world and putting on concerts, including a free, outdoor gig in Cuba during March this year.
According to a statement by the album’s co-producer, Don Was, “Blue & Lonesome” is a testament to the band’s love for making music, stressing that blues is the fountainhead of everything The Rolling Stones do.
The band released a video snippet for fans on Twitter of them performing a tune in a studio, clearly showing the artwork for the album’s cover, with a blue version of their iconic tongue-and-lips logo, included below.
