SPAM alert: Do NOT confirm your Linkedin email address!

Some hackers may have got hold of Linkedin email addresses and are asking us to "confirm the authenticity" of that email address. Don't - it's a spam scam.


You may receive an email today, allegedly from the website Linkedin. To a certain extent it does look as though it is from the site, but if you point your mouse pointer at the "Confirm your email address" button, you will see that it actually links to a nasty little spammy website, included as a .jpg below:




While we don't know what would happen if you actually clicked on the link, we would definitely recommend against it!
